"When it comes to painting sunsets, it usually starts from a photograph I've seen or taken myself - not that I've done that many. 
As is the case with most of my paintings...they take on that journey of their own. I allow myself to get so deep into the meditation that I just lose myself in the process. All ego disappears...I 'melt' into the picture that is emerging and let it flow of its own accord. 
 
This began with a few simple colours in the sky and the horizon but it wasn't until I was nearing the finish of this that I felt the gust of wind and before I knew it, angels were leading the way - flying before me, showing me their wings and allowing me to capture just a 'whisp' of their beautiful presence in their flight across the sea.
