Sometimes one creates a picture... a painting... that one wishes to create again. Only the next time it takes on a new life!
 
This is what happened with Flower Dance. 
I originally painted a small watercolour version of this (that looks little different) for my mother many years ago. Then one day, we decided to enlarge it and I had it photographed and blown up into a tall poster for her. It looks absolutely fabulous hanging in her entrance hall!
 
Since that day... I felt it calling me more and more until I could no longer ignore it and responded by beginning to create another version! 
 
I searched and searched for the right music and finally came across this piano tune by DJ OKAWARI  called 'Flower Dance'.
 
 
And so the painting of the same name emerged little by little over a period of weeks and as I played the music on repeat, the flowers just came alive with an energy of their own. It was simply magical.
 
I hope you too notice the wonderful and joyful energy of this painting and how it just wishes to play its dance a music in your presence. :)
